A second solution is to pasteurize apple juice, which can then easily be stored between 6 and 12 months. Thanks to pasteurization, the organisms present in the juice, which ferment it, will be destroyed.

What about industrial apple juice?

If we prefer to consume industrial apple juice, we will be faced with a large choice in-store, between those that are organic, those that contain sugar or cinnamon, etc.

In order to make a wise choice, it is recommended to take the time and look at the nutritional values present and especially to pay attention to the amount of sugar contained in the juice (maximum 20 g per 250 g), as well as the presence of artificial sweeteners such as aspartame or sucralose, which cause a delicious taste, but which are too sweet for health.

You should know that industrial apple juices are not recommended for regular consumption, but rather sporadic. Indeed, industrial juices are poor in everything contained in homemade apple juices, that is, vitamins, fiber, antioxidants, and minerals. In addition, they all too often contain too much sugar, which increases cholesterol, diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular accidents.

Regarding fresh apple juice, the more you drink, the more diuretic effects it will have. As for industrial apple juice, which has a large tendency to contain sugar and additives, it is recommended not to drink more than 2 glasses of it per day, as it may tend to form caries for example.
